The UN refugee agency said on July 19 that death rates among refugees arriving in Ethiopia's Dolo Ado area reached 7.4 deaths per 10,000 in June, 15 times more than the baseline rate in sub-Sahara Africa. The United Nations said on July 20, 2011 that famine has hit two parts of rebel-held Somalia, with up to 350,000 people affected in the most severe food crisis in Africa for two decades. The extreme drought is affecting more than 10 million people in the Horn of Africa

They replaced old diesel-powered carts, local media reported on Tuesday.
