Many of the victims say they still have not been paid all of the compensation they were promised five years ago by the enterprise some experts believe was responsible for the disaster, gas drilling company Lapindo Brantas, part of the massive business empire controlled by the family of powerful Golkar party chief Aburizal Bakrie.
